2023 Jean-Jacques Confuron Clos Vougeot Grand Cru, Burgundy, FranceABOUT THIS WINE The grapes for this Grand Cru come from a 0. 5 hectare plot of vines that were planted in 1962. Confuron's plot is located in the upper part of the vineyard, behind the castle. Brown, calcerous soil, rich in clay and alluvium. Aged in barrels for 15 to 18 months (80% new oak). Average production of 2,000 bottles per year. ABOUT THIS PRODUCER Domaine Jean Jacques Confuron is located in Premeaux Prissey, close to Nuits St. Georges in the
