AN ORIGINAL poster by Ernest Pignon-Ernest from the famous annual series promoting the French Open Tennis Championships

was available for use by other German dealers

The poster is undated but the slogan 'Clear and Correct Addressing Speeds Your Mail' is found on GPO posters around the year 1960

but the accompanying sculptures of saints survived because they had been removed for restoration

The image is bright and clean

with drawings by the respected French landscape painter Charles Tranchand
