This is the 2nd type OBE awarded from 1936 and is awarded to the present date

Instituted in 1901

the Air Force Medal served as the equivalent decoration for non-commissioned personnel

It was possible to be awarded the Naval GSM George VI with 7 first clasps: -

Lebanon 7th February 1983 - 9th March 1984

The General Service Medal with Radfan Clasp was awarded for 30 days service ashore

The VC is made from the bronze of Russian guns captured at Sebastopol
