The Strip models are classic Dutch Design and were designed by Gijs Bakker for Castelijn in the 1970's. This timeless design is one of our favs, that's why we try to always have them in stock. The Strip chair was designed with simplifying the chair's form in mind, and is made of four strips of laminated beechwood that are linked together by dowels. It's simple flowy form allows the chairs to be stacked up
