Antique Needle Case - Charming Little Steel NotionThis is a charming little steel needle case likely from the first part of the 20th century. It opens nicely from the centre and has domed ends. Inside is a little needle and the case is in lovely antique condition measuring just under 2 inches and is perfect for any small slim items such as needles etc.. It is likely made from bog oak and is carved beautifully in the shape of a Celtic cross with all kinds of detail to both sides

It is a good heavy piece at almost 42 gms in weight and an outer circumference of 8

This is a beautiful unmarked solid silver locket from the Victorian era

It has gorgeous etching to each side and a lovely curve to sit in your pocket and has the original straps inside to hold the contents in place and these are wonderful metal pieces with good spring still and separation to one end as shown

The stem is grey steel and in good condition with patina due to age and minor dings

age-appropriate wear to the slightly rough edge of the cup rim and to the hand-painted gold leaf gilding on the rims and lid finial

The interior is beautifully bright with mirrored metal interior and a good cavity for all kinds of uses

3 inches long and has a lovely coral coloured glass tear drop on the top

It has a small sliding button which produces the pencil which has no lead presently

It has a nice bail to the bottom for chatelaine and could of course be used as a pendant
